Make your resolutions starting with "WHY"

"Making resolutions can be a powerful way to set goals and make positive changes in your life. But it's not always easy to stick to our resolutions, especially if we lose sight of our motivations for making them in the first place. That's why it's so important to focus on the why.

When we understand the deeper reasons behind our resolutions, it becomes easier to stay motivated and committed to achieving them. Maybe you want to eat healthier because you want to have more energy, or you want to save money because you dream of traveling the world. Whatever your motivations may be, keep them at the forefront of your mind as you work towards your goals.

So take a moment to reflect on your resolutions, and ask yourself why you want to make these changes. By focusing on the why, you'll be better equipped to make and keep your resolutions in the long run."

  1. Focus on the why: It's important to understand your motivations for making a resolution. What is it that you hope to gain or change by keeping this resolution? Having a clear understanding of your reasons can help you stay motivated.
  2. Be kind to yourself: It's important to be gentle with yourself as you work towards your goals. Don't set unrealistic expectations or beat yourself up if you slip up. Remember, progress is more important than perfection.
  3. Seek support: It can be helpful to enlist the help of a friend, family member, or professional life coach as you work towards your resolution. Having someone to talk to and provide encouragement can make a big difference.
  4. Reflect and reassess: As you make progress towards your resolution, take time to reflect on your progress and reassess your goals. Are you on track? Do you need to make any adjustments to your plan? It's important to be flexible and open to change as you work towards your goals.

Procrastination, social media
By Ayo Mould January 16, 2023
Procrastination is often referred to as the thief of time, but it can also be seen as a thief of life purpose. When we put off important tasks, we are not only wasting valuable time, but we are also delaying the progress we could be making towards our goals and aspirations. Procrastination can take many forms, from avoiding a difficult task to getting lost in distractions such as social media or television. It can lead to feelings of guilt, shame, and low self-worth. We may feel like we are not capable of achieving our goals, and we may even begin to believe that we are not worthy of success. Strategies to overcome procrastination: Set specific, achievable goals. Break down larger tasks into smaller, more manageable chunks. Create a schedule and stick to it. Minimize distractions. Take regular breaks to prevent burnout. A coach can help you overcome procrastination by assisting you to identify the underlying causes of your procrastination and developing a plan to address them. They can also provide accountability and support as you work to overcome your procrastination habits. A coach can also help you to stay on track and motivated by providing you with the tools, strategies and techniques to be productive and overcome procrastination. In conclusion, procrastination is not only a thief of time, but it can also be a thief of life purpose. It can hold us back from achieving our goals, and it can lead to negative thoughts and feelings. By setting specific goals, breaking down tasks, creating a schedule, and minimizing distractions, and seeking help of a coach we can overcome procrastination and move forward towards our aspirations.

As we go through life, it's easy to get caught up in the pursuit of big goals and aspirations. We often focus on the "big stuff" and ignore the small things that are happening around us. But the small things in life are often the ones that have the biggest impact. They are the little acts of kindness that brighten someone's day, the simple pleasures of nature that bring us peace and calm, and the small things we do for ourselves to take care of our bodies and minds. Ignoring the small things can lead us to miss out on so much of the beauty and joy in life. It can also cause us to become agitated and complain about our inability to achieve the big stuff. This can be especially true when we're faced with challenges or setbacks. It's easy to get discouraged and focus on what we're not able to do or achieve. But it's important to remember that the small things in life can have a huge impact. They can provide us with the support and direction we need to navigate through life's challenges. For example, when we're feeling overwhelmed, a small act of kindness from a friend can go a long way in lifting our spirits. Or when we're feeling down, a simple walk in nature can bring us a sense of peace and calm. So, rather than ignoring the small stuff, let's make a conscious effort to be grateful for it. Let's take the time to acknowledge and celebrate the small victories and accomplishments that come our way. Let's be intentional in acknowledging the small things in our lives and feel the beauty and joy they bring. And let's remember to thank God for all the small things that bring support and direction to our lives. By focusing on the small things, we can open ourselves up to a world of abundance and fulfillment. We can find joy and meaning in the little things, even when the big stuff doesn't go as planned. So let's embrace the small stuff and let it guide us through life's challenges and obstacles. Ayo Mould Co-Founder Living Springs Consulting Inc.

It was not the Icebergs that caused the popular Titanic to sink, it was too many Bosses on the same ship. Until you get to that stage of knowing the root cause of the issue in your marriage, the blame games will continue. Even the best couples can struggle to protect their marriage vows. But what happens when marriage troubles become unbearable? Is there a point at which couples should end a bad marriage? Or is there hope for something better? I will be willing to listen and pray with you for restoration if need be.
